Born in Potsdam, New York on June 3, 1950 and passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on June 22, 2024, after a brief illness.
Loving wife of Jim “Frog” Hunter. Mother of Kathy “Katie” Gamble, Mark Thomas, Karen Thomas and mother-in-law of Kim. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Flora Mahagan, as well as her brother Bob and son-in-law Randy Gamble. Mary loved playing pool, darts and poker throughout her years.
The family would like to thank the Nurses in the CCU, Dr. Amy Montour and the Nurses in the Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and compassion.
At Mary’s request, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
