TEWARI, ANANDAIE

Anandaie passed peacefully from this life the evening of March 20^th 2014 after a gradual decline in health due to Alzheimer’s disease. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.  Anandaie was born in Arouca, Trinidad in 1925. On May 25^th,1945 she married Sharma Tewari and moved to Felicity, Trinidad where they had 3 children, 1 son and 2 daughters. After her husband passed away in 1953 she raised her children in Trinidad. After her children were grown she moved to Missisauga, Canada  where she lived the remainder of her life. Anandaie is survived by two children: Sila Bharath,Vidya Harripersad, son-in-law Winston, six grandchildren: Rishi, Sharada, Satyaveda, Sashvin, Sarila and Vinesh. Anandaie is also survived by three sisters Lalita, Goomtie and Suipatee. She was preceded in death by her husband Sharma and her son Surrendra. friends may visit on Monday March 24, 2014, at St. John’s Dixie Crematorium Chapel, 737 Dundas St. East (Dundas & Cawthra) in Mississauga from 1 -1:30p.m followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimers Society of Canada, www.alzheimer.ca
