TANCHAK, John – Passed away on Monday May 25, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Lily of 63 years, brother Dan (Margot), sisters Margret Mackensie (Eric), Ruth Smith (Lyle), and the late Mary Hunter. Father of Susan Essig (Kyle), Garry Tanchak (Beth), and Larry Tanchak of Bejing China. Proud grandfather of Johnathon and Noah Woodley, Carley and Jessica Tanchak, and Theadore (Ted) and Harrison (Harry) Tanchak of New Zealand. A man of deep faith, John did not believe in death. He believed in God, life ever after, and the sanctity of the family. His great joy was the company, love and pride he had for his grandchildren. His spirt is within all of them. These words are for them. Johns wishes were for cremation and his passing to be celebrated with his immediate family only.
