It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Lori Rita Young, aged 50, of Milton, Ontario who left this world on Saturday August 2, 2025, surrounded by those she loved most.

Born in Scarborough, the child of Ashley and Wavey Young, Tammy grew up with a strong sense of value, family, generosity and loyalty, which remained a guiding light throughout her life.
Tammy was a beloved child, sister, niece, cousin, friend, stepparent, grandparent and most importantly her favorite role of all was a mother. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love.

She is survived by Parents Ashley and Wavey Young, Children Austin, Greyson and Markus and Stepmother to Ashley, Grandchild Brooklynn, Sister Cynthia, and many other cherished relatives and friends.

Tammy did not wish to have a visitation or funeral service, however there will be a Celebration of Life which will be held in September or October (date to be confirmed at a later date). All who knew and loved Tammy are welcome to attend and celebrate a life well-lived.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Tammy will forever live on in our hearts, in every shared memory, every quiet moment, and every act of love inspired by her beautiful spirit.

I first met Tammy at our previous mutual place of employment, to us both moving to PTG. Many memories that will last a lifetime.
Tammy’s spirt and smile was the best, will sadly be missed.

We had lots of laughs on the sidelines and many more on our tournaments and soccer mom pokeno nights! Tammy was the best mom to her boys and I was so glad to know her!! Tammy was more than a friend to me, she was one of the strongest women I have ever known. She faced life’s challenges head-on, with courage, grace, and an unshakable joy that inspired everyone around her. No matter the battles she fought, she carried love in her heart and a smile that could light up any room.

I will miss her so deeply and still can’t quite believe she’s gone. Tammy defied the odds time and again, but this was one even her remarkable strength could not win. Still, her spirit, her laughter, and her kindness will never fade from my heart.

Rest peacefully, my dear friend. You will always be remembered, always be loved, and always be missed.

She was a beautiful soul with so much determination and lo e. She had a heart of gold and would give all she had to those who meant the most to her.

I am heart broken that I will no longer hear her laughter or feel her presence, but her legacy will live on in her wonderful children and all the memories she made with those who has the privilege to know her.
