Sadly, Diane passed away suddenly on December 29, 2016 in her 76 yr. at Sheridan Villa Nursing Home in Clarkson, Ontario. Diane was a kind, caring and loving Mother to John, Debbie and Karen, loving Grandmother to Chloe, Deanna (Dee Dee) and Daniel, loving sister to Donna, Linda and Peggy and loving sister-in-law to Michael and Frank.
She was predeceased by her husband John Roger Surkos (February 28, 2016) and mother Isabel McLean Olesen (February 22, 1977) Diane loved watching the Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs and football with her family and enjoyed going to bingo with her daughters. Diane will be missed by her family as her smile and laugh would light up their day.
There will be a Memorial Service for Diane on Saturday January 7th at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium in the Sandalwood Room Chapel located at 737 Dundas Street East (at Cawthra Rd), Mississauga.
