Summer Johnny

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Summer Johnny, a member of Liard First Nation on Thursday June 9 , 2022 at the age of 40.

Cherished daughter of Alice Sands (Donald Johnson) and the late Nelson Johnny. Survived by the father of her children Matthew Sinclair.

Loving mother of Zacoya, Zamara, Isaiah, Noah, Zakeera, Judah and Benjamin.

Dear sister of Jack, Theresa, Eric, Skye (Jim), Spring (Robert), Autumn (Jihaad), Sunni, Jenna, Colton (Maddy), Fyle (Destiny) and the late Gloria.

Summer will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Summer had a huge heart and would help others if she could. She loved music and was a great dancer. She was a very proud Native woman that was proud of her

Native heritage .

Summer’s greatest love in life was her children. She was deeply proud of their strength of character and independent spirits.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Holy Cross Cemetary , 620 Governors Road East, Paris, Ontario on Thursday June 16, 2022, from

2-4 pm.

Cremation to follow at a later date.
