Stuart Russell Field
~Stuart Russell Field~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Russell Field on December 27, 2023 at the age of 77. Survived by his wife of 52 years Cathy (nee Inglis), his son Mark, his daughter Lori and his grand-daughter Keeley. All adored him. Stuart enjoyed serving his community, as a Rotarian, at the St. Lambert and Brampton curling clubs, and in Rosedale Village. He was an avid curler and golfer, and enjoyed years of family time at the cottage on Lake Champlain. He loved nothing more than spending time with friends, telling stories, living life to the fullest and exploring the world with friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rosedale Clubhouse, 45 Via Rosedale Avenue, Brampton, ON on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1 – 4 pm. If you wish, as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
To Stuart’s family,
I was taken by surprise when I heard about Stu’s untimely passing.
He and..an I had a great relationship when he was living in Montreal. He had a heart of gold.
May the family face no more sorrow for a long time to come..
Thank you David. Your kind words are greatly appreciated.
Cathy, I am so saddened by the news of your loss. I was privileged to work with Stu. If I remember correctly, one of his favorite expressions was “We’re here for a good time not for a long time” I know that you, along with Mark and Lori and more so with his granddaughter were the main factors in his good times and enthusiasm for life. I found this one picture. I trust your memories will sustain you during this difficult time. Stu was a wonderful human…may he rest in peace.
Thank you Laurie, I remember you well. Thank you for remembering Stuart. And you are right, that was one of his favourite expressions
