STEPHAN, Betty Louise (nee Dinsmore)

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Betty Louise Stephan (nee Dinsmore) on Friday, August 23, 2019. Betty was dearly loved by her husband of 45 years, John, daughters Dawn and Lindsay, and sons-in-law Rob and Aaron. Betty will always be remembered as a devoted grandmother to Joshua, Joel, and John. The eldest of nine children, Betty was cherished by her siblings and their spouses Margaret Rose and Bob, Judy and Ron (deceased), Jim and Betty May, Melvin, Marilyn and Ross, and Beverly and Terry. She was beloved by brother- and sister-in-law Alex (deceased) and Hilda (deceased). Betty also found joy in her many nephews and nieces here and overseas to whom she was an endeared Aunt Betty. We treasure her big-hearted devotion, generosity, sacrifice, spunk – and faith in each of us to grow to be the best we can be. We look forward to being together with family and friends for a Celebration of Life in the spring. In lieu of flowers and as a legacy to Betty, we appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
