Smart, James

James Smart
August 19, 1978 – April 5 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James Smart, a loving and dedicated
father, at the age of 46. James left us too soon, but the impact he made in his family’s life and
the lives of those around him will never be forgotten.
James was a devoted father, whose love for his children was immeasurable. His sense of
humour and unwavering support of his family will never be forgotten. James was a long
standing member of the Christdadelphian Ecclesia. He now sleeps in the sure hope of the
resurrection in the Lord Jesus Christ. He had a deep love of the outdoors, particularly the
serene beauty of Muskoka where he spent as much time as possible in Bala.
James leaves behind his children Caily, Brienna, and Ryan. He was predeceased by his father
Jack and survived by his mother Sandy, brother Sean, sister Jen (Dave), brother Josh (Naomi),
nephews Brett (Allie) and Tyler, and niece Alyssa.
James has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at TB Costain-SC Johnson
Community Centre in Brantford on April 26, 2025 from 1-3.
