SAWYER, Mary Theresa Catharine (nee Owen) – Nov. 17, 1933 – Oct. 3, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our beautiful mother at Brierwood Gardens in Brantford. So very missed by her children, Keith (Wendy), Terry (Lydia), Cathy (Rick), Sandra (Randy), Cindy, Susan and Joan (Chip). Loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren. We were so blessed to have had this amazing woman in our lives. We will never know a more patient, thoughtful and kind person. Heartfelt thanks to her wonderful caregivers at Brierwood Gardens. Mom enjoyed being the newcomer ambassador, mail delivery person and member of the social committee. We are at peace knowing that mom was received into the loving arms of her dad (Richard), mother (Ellen) and dear sister (Claudia). Survived by sister, Gert (Roger) brother, Alex (Germaine) and many dear family and friends. A celebration of mom’s life to be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 2-5 p.m., at Club Heidelberg, 569 Lake Street, St. Catharines.
