My deepest condolences to my sister and my nieces and nephews, always love for them,
Elon was not a brother in law he was a brother, he has been there for most of my life, always helping out always a shoulder to cry on, and we will miss him greatly, the farm will not be the same, and neither the grass, you could always find him on Saturday mornings from the start of grass cutting season to the end of grass cutting season on his favourite John Deere lawn mower doing one of his favourite hobbies.
Love and miss you

My sincere condolences to the Ryerse Family on the loss of Elon. You’re in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Our family lived across the street from Doug & Shirley. I miss them dearly.

My condolences to you Deb and to your family. I had the privilege of working with Elon at Dewalt for the past 8 years. He and I shared many conversations about the farm and country living and we had lots of laughs together. He certainly was a wealth of knowledge and I learned a lot from him. His friendship meant a great deal to me and he will be missed and remembered by many.

My condolences to Debbie and all her kids and grandkids and great grandkids, to all of Elons brothers and sisters and in-laws. It was an absolute privilege to have Elon in my life and my families life. He was more to me than just a brother in law, he was more of a brother and best friend rolled into one. I will miss our countless crop tours, and the occasional drive to find a deal or tool sale, usually involving the purchase of the odd dewalt tool or John Deere . The countless hours of helping me on the farm, or cutting grass, always just a phone call away!!! I will miss you, and all that we did and all the time we spent together. I truly believe that if there is a dewalt store in heaven that you have already been there, and probably having banana splits for breakfast and cutting grass all afternoon. I will miss you my brother, until we meet again…we will all miss you

I only had the pleasure of meeting Elon a few times including an ice cream date and I can honestly say he was a very kind and giving man. He also could make you laugh with his dry wit and off the cuff stories. Comfortable would be the best word to describe how Elon made you feel when he was near.
