Trudy Vivien Barrett Roberts
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trudy Vivien Barrett Roberts, age 68, on April 18th, 2025.
Trudy was born on April 4th, 1957 in Rocky Harbour-Newfoundland and lived a life marked by her stubbornness and willingness to sacrifice what she could to help anyone who asked. She had a profound love for her coffee, cigarettes and her grandchildren. She is survived by her children (Lisa Mabel Payne, Vanessa Roberts, Kimberly Roberts) and her grandchildren (Kyla, Jayden, Sarah, Jacob and Rosalie) and predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bobby) Godfrey.
The family will be holding a Public service on April 26th, 2025 from 1-3pm at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St E Mississauga ON L4Y 2B5) A memorial/gathering will take place in the Magnolia Chapel, for those who would like to celebrate her life.
Rest in peace, Trudy Vivien Barrett Roberts. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
There will be no preordained service. If you have a memory you’d like to share of Trudy please feel free to come forth at 2:00pm.

Rest in peace Nanny Trudy. We were so sad to hear of your health declining and ultimately your passing on Good Friday. You are so loved by your family, Kyla, Rosalie and our Amelia and will be missed terribly. Your family and ours will always be entwined. I’m humbled to be an honorary mother figure and Nanny for your grand daughter and great granddaughter. Say hi to Bob, my mom and dad and everyone for us. I’m sure you’ll have a fun time watching all your family grow up. Watch over them and keep them safe from harm.
