It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Cindy
on April 1st, 2025.
Cindy was born February 21, 1964 in Korbecke, Germany where her
father was posted with the Canadian Military. She was predeceased
by her parents Gerald Curoe (2021) and Peggy Hodgson Curoe
(2003). Cindy was an animal lover and over the years had many pets
in her life and was predeceased by her dear little beagle friend JJ who
she missed terribly. Cindy will be missed by her dear friend Jeanette
Johnson and Uncle and Aunt, Kerry & Linda Boon as well as many
cousins and friends. Thank you to all the caregivers at St. Joesephs
Health Care for the wonderful care she received while residing there
for the past two years after her tragic life altering fall. A special
mention to Kim, caregiver and friend to Cindy. Also, thanks to the
BGH emergency department for their special tender care. Cindy has
now moved on to her forever home to be with her departed loved ones
and may she forever Rest in Peace.
Keeping with Cindy’s wishes there will be a private internment.
Cindy’s ashes will be buried with her parents at Woodlawn Cemetery,
Guelph.
Donations in Cindy’s memory can be made to Brantford SPCA or
charity of your choice.
