PUSEY, Jeffrey Gerald – March 25, 1960 – February 21, 2019
With sad hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Jeffrey. After a long battle with amyloidosis, of which there appears to be no cause or cure, Jeff is finally at peace. Loved father of Shayla and Cody and Thomas and Cassie, cherished eldest son of Barb and Gerry and dear brother of Todd and his wife Sandra and Chris. Predeceased by his grandparents Norma and Gordon Shay and Ariel and Ern Pusey. Will be remembered by Nella, the Spadafora, Pusey and Shay families. He loved coaching hockey and was involved in both boy’s and girl’s hockey for many years. He was instrumental in starting the Brantford Girl’s Minor Hockey League and designed the first “Ice Cats” logo. He worked for Canada Post for many years. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care that Jeffrey received at BCHS, Juravinski Hospital and especially at the Stedman Community Hospice-Hankinson House. We are extremely grateful to all of the staff and volunteers at the hospice who became family over the past few months. Thank you for your exceptional care and support. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at Hampton Inn & Suites, 20 Fen Ridge Court in Brantford on Sunday March 17, 2019 from 2-4:30. If wished, memorial donations in Jeff’s memory to the Stedman Community Hospice-Hankinson House or the Arnold Anderson Sport Fund would be appreciated. Donation cards will be available.

My name is Emma, I am an RPN at a family practice in Brantford. I often scroll through local obituaries so I can pay condolences to patients families, when someone passes, as we dont always receive promt reports. I lost my father to TTR Amyloidosis January 17th of this year, so Jeffrey’s caught my eye, and my heart. I did not know him, or your family, but I do know the long, difficult, frustrating angry sea of a journey it has taken you on. I just wanted to express my raw, heartfelt condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. My Dad was 68, David Livingston Callaghan of Burlington.
