It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Krassimire Penov, age 60, on July 25, 2025.
Krassimire Penov was born on May 16, 1965 in Pernik, Bulgaria and lived a life marked by hard work, caring for others and being the reason people smile or laugh. He had the biggest heart and always wanted to make sure his loved ones were in better positions than him. He knew a little bit of everything, was a real jack of all trades and loved to share his knowledge with the people he cared for. He was an extremely passionate and wise individual, and touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His love for his family was unconditional, and his values will continue to guide us every day. Krassimire was strong enough to battle through cancer and defeat it, had 2 stents in his heart and other health issues but his love for his family motivated him to keep pushing forward through life for the benefit of the people he loved.
He is survived by his wife Rusvila, his children Geovanni and Francesca, his mother Vladka, his sister Vessela and predeceased by his father, Ivan.
The family will be holding a public service on Friday, August 1, 2025 at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Chapel. Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Parking is available in the main parking lot off Dundas, please walk towards the main building in the cemetery grounds.
Rest in peace, Krassimire. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
