Norton, Wayne Douglas

Wayne Douglas Norton (1949-2019), passed away peacefully on July 13, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  Wayne was a devoted father, grandfather and loving husband. Always involved in his children’s activities. Known for volunteering in his community and church.  He was a skilled tradesman, hardworking business man, MAC tools. Wayne was a friend of Bill Wilson for over 40 years. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his wife Shirley of 46 years. Daughter Tina (Rob), sons Shawn and Ken (Yuka). Grandchildren Matthew, Christopher, Alicia, Lindsay, Wayne, Robert and 5 great grand children. Predeceased by his parents Doug and Arlene Norton and sister Muriel.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 19, 2019 at Westside Presbyterian Church, 130 Victoria Avenue, Cambridge ON N1S 1Y2 from 5 – 7:30 pm, with the service to start at 7:30 pm with a reception to follow. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lisaard House or Westside Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
