It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Rose Newlove (Maguire) at the age of 73. Karen passed away peacefully with cherished family by her side on June 12th 2025 at the Brantford General Hospital.
Karen was born January 6th 1952 in Brantford Ontario, she leaves behind her adoring husband Larry Newlove of 56 years. Karen is the loving mother of Lisa (Richard), Terry (Donna), and Scott (Cindy). And Grammy of Austin, Zachary (Rebecca), Tosha, Justin (Savannah), and Jayme Lynn. And Great Gram to Zaida, Raedynn, and Eden. She leaves behind her sisters Charlene, Nancy (Stan), and her brother Wayne (Jody) as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces. She is predeceased by her parents
Bing (Harris) Maguire and Elsie Maguire-Heisler.
Karen was the family photographer, our garden whisper, artist, and lover of nature and the outdoors. She loved her pets treating them as part of the family and even loved her children’s pets like her own. She had a great sense of humour, loyalty, and pride. She was a protector like a mama bear when it came to her family and she loved with all her heart, if you were one of the lucky ones to be loved by her you knew it. She was always there for her family and friends; she made sure you knew you could come to her for help and guidance whether it be physical or with advice good or bad she would help you see other points of view to help guide you. She would help any of us in any way she could and would stand
behind you, protect you, and love you no matter what.
We all love you so much and will miss you so much, but we have that love and so many memories to keep us going till we see you again.
XOXOXO
As per Karen’s wishes there will be no funeral service or celebration of life the family will celebrate her life privately but the family thanks your condolences and well wishes during this difficult time.
