Passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025 at home with family at her side. Alice was born in Glace Bay, NS to the late Vernard and Forence Adshade. Alice lived and work most of her 80 years in Preston. She was a retiree from Butler Metal Products.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Joseph Murphy (2022). She is survived by her daughter Terry Stapleton and her son James Wylie (Linda), grandchildren Matthew (Tasha), Michelle (Jose) and Jenna. Alice was adored by her great grandchildren Shyann, Gabriel, Seth and Selena. Alice leaves behind her sisters Verna (Ron)Grube, Elaine (Gerry) Berner, Anne (Ian) Riley, Cathy (the late Wayne) Thompson, Sharon (and the late Bryan) King and brother John Adshade.
She will be sadly missed by Anne & Jason Watkin, her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Mass will be held on Friday September 26, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church at 745 Duke St., in Preston. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain St. N., Cambridge with a reception to follow back at the church
