Moore, Timothy “Timmy” John

Timothy “Timmy” John Moore, 58, of Brampton, Ontario, passed peacefully on Saturday August 26, 2017.  Son of the late Alvin Douglas Moore and Barbara Joan Moore (Radford).  Loving Father of Nicole (Steve), TJ (Bonnie), Amanda, Callie and Andie.  Grandpa of Kieran, Cael, Elliot, Olivia and Maxton.  He is survived by his brother Bob (Mary-Lou); sisters Patty, Dianne (Rainer) and Jodie (Frank) and predeceased by his brother Greg (Susan). Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and good friend to many.

Tim was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in April of this year, and quickly accepted the things he could not change and decided to be joyful about life rather than be sad about dying. His last few months were spent in constant laughter, playing poker, and making memories with family and friends.

Tim will be greatly missed by his friends and family, and will be remembered as a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan, lover of dogs, cook extraordinaire, and as a man with a true “servants heart”.

The family would like to thank the staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice, Brampton Civic Hospital Palliative Oncology Unit, and Trillium Hospital Neurosugery Unit who provided exceptional care and comfort.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at the Royal Ontario Golf Club, 6378 Trafalgar Rd on Monday September 4, 2017. Friends and Family are invited to gather for refreshments and light snacks at noon. The celebration begins at 1:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to wear blue and/or Toronto Maple Leaf apparel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Dorothy Ley Hospice in memory of Tim Moore would be greatly appreciated.
