Miller, Marilyn
After a brave and courageous journey, words cannot express what an inspiration you are.
Marilyn peacefully passed away on January 15, 2021 with loving family by her side at the Stedman Community Hospice.
Her strength and love will carry on through her children, son Gavin (Cindy) Miller, daughter Andrea Miller and her grandchildren, Owen, Jeremy, Vanessa and Julia.
Her beautiful smile and kind heart will be cherished by all her loving family and friends.
She is deeply missed by her loyal companion, her dog Eskie.
Marilyn was a devoted and dedicated Grandma (Mima), she was their biggest fan.
She loved the simplicities of life, the tranquility of working in her gardens and feeding the birds. She enjoyed going to festivals, joining her friends at high tea and spending time with loved ones.
The family wishes to thank the Stedman Community Hospice and the Out-Reach Team for their exceptional care and compassion.
Thank you to the staff of the Brantford General Hospital Cancer Clinic, to all those on the Rehab Unit, to the team at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic and Hamilton General Cardiac Unit.
Thank you to all nurses and PSW’s of Bayshore and VON for all your kindness, support and compassion.
An extra special thank you to all her family and friends for extending so much love and support.
Marilyn was a member of the Brantford Spiritualist Church.
In honour of Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
If wished, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated in memory of Marilyn.
Always loved and forever in our hearts.

My deepest condolences to you all.
One thing I always remember about your Mom/Mima is her beautiful smile. I remember her walking by with you both and always say hi and allowing you and I Andrea to talk childhood talk.
My mom was sharing some memories of her own with me saying that she knew your mom since she was a teenager.
Memories are treasures that you will forever hold onto.
Marilyn will remain in my memory forever as the wonderful lady who could pack her car full of garage sale items for the church. Marilyn’s love for her family was beautiful! I will
Miss our chats over tea. Until
We meet again.
As I sit here I am thinking of the fun times with Marilyn at Church. Even visiting her at Andrea’s home, still had the same personality, good with the comebacks when Gilbert would tease her. The two of them worked well in the kitchen when there was a tea going on. He could always make her laugh. Great memories.
Our Condolences to your families Andrea and Gavin. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.
