Beverley McKerrall (Larion)
1936 – 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Joan McKerrall in her 90th year, on March 21, 2026.
Born in Brantford, Ontario, Beverley was the daughter of the late Michael W. and Emerald May. She is survived by her children, Michael (Linda) Larion, Pamela (Jack), Clancy, David (Marianne) Larion, Patricia Larion and brother, Jack May. Beverley was predeceased by her best friend and husband of 35 years, James McKerrall and brother, Robert (Bob) May.
Beverley believed in the importance of education having earned a diploma of Social Work from Mohawk College, followed by graduating from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work degrees. Beverley retired after a successful career within the Provincial government working for the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Post-retirement, she supported her son in the management of one of his restaurants and was self-employed as a family counsellor.
An avid believer in giving back, Beverley volunteered her time for many organizations, including as a Parole Supervisor with Corrections Canada and various positions at the Chatham Kent General Hospital.
Bev and Jim spent their retirement travelling the world together, playing golf and spending winters at their Florida home. They loved animals as shown by the many pets in their home over their years together. They entertained friends and family extensively, as Bev was a renowned cook. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Kathleen, Marisa, Alana. Oliver, Lucy and Skylar.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Lifecare for the great care of Beverley over the past year and in her final days.
Cremation has taken place. Bev will be interred at Mount Hope Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dear Patricia and family: I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was such a lovely lady. I have fond memories of her baking goodies for us at your home on Lida Street.
What a wonderful and giving life she lived.
Sending love your way during this difficult time.

Dear Patricia, Pamela, David and Michael: I loved being your mom’s nephew and her being my favorite auntie. I still have vivid childhood memories of how beautiful, fashionable and kind she always was. I will always remember our regular, lengthy conversations and how we always ended up talking about food. Please accept my sincere condolences to you all.
Love Terry
