Maryann Gordon

On October 10, 2021 Maryann Louise Gordon (Sears) passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Maryann joins the love of her life David Gordon (2012) as well as her twin boys Morgan and Montgomery (1960)
Mom will always be remembered and missed by her daughter Linda Newton-Tyler and granddaughters Jenna Tyler and Kendra Tyler whom she adored.
She also leaves behind her step children who she loved as her own. Debbie (Dan) St. Thomas, David (Sharon), Chuck (Pearl), Jim (Tracy), Ed (1984) along with one brother Sandy Simon, and many cousins on the Greentree side.  She had a dear best friend for many years and they were sisters by heart Helen Crew.
She was a unique person but very strong willed, opinionated, and had spunk on one hand, but would do anything for anyone with her kind heart. She amazed me by trying anything like learning to go online, using a cell phone and spent years doing crafts with Dave.
She loved bingo, shopping, tea, detective and scary movies.

As she strongly requested many times there will be no visitation or service and cremation will take place. Internment will be in the near future.
I will miss our times together and holidays won’t be the same, but 82 yrs was a blessing with so many health issues. She was tough and never gave up.
Mom: “Those who we love and lose will always be connected by heart”

She loved you all and missed seeing you! The phone calls kept her happy and the distance was far but hearts were what mattered.
You did good sis at checking on her.

I spent so much time after my father died that I forgot to be with my mom, I thought that if I didn’t talk to mom I’d not feel the loss of my dad. Now my loss is 10 fold because I now have the rest of my life to hate myself for being such a shallow person and I always cried when we talked.
Now my sister Linda has to bare the power of the younger child to get the older one to forgive himself and to be forgiven by Linda and the kids.
    Sorry guys ????

There is nothing to forgive Bro… We all handle death differently. The big thing is Mom and Dad’s love brought us together as family in our adult life.
She knew you loved her and would call me after you’d talk to her.
You did your best as you felt and are loved by all of us ❣️
You are not shallow, you are amazing!
