Harold “Harry” Edward Mahler
1947 ~ 2023
It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Harry Edward Mahler, at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, of Brantford, in his 76th year.
Predeceased by his loving wife Mary; loved father to Michael (Jennifer), Steven (Sherri), and Jonathan (Courtney); cherished grandfather to Matthew, Meghan, Liam, Abby, Penny, Quentin, Vaughn, Briley, Cameron, Jalen, Brady, Emily, Ashley, Emillie, and Sarah; cherished great grandfather to Jack. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Violet, and siblings Rita, Evelyn, and Helen.
Harry was raised in Brantford, but alongside Mary they raised their family in Kitchener. Harry had a strong love for his family and a strong love for baseball. Some of his fondest memories were driving across Ontario with his children to many baseball tournaments. He worked as a fabricator at Canada Blower/Canada Pumps for most of his career and spent the remaining work years at Don Park/Noble Hvac as a fabricator/inside sales.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at the River’s Edge at The Arlington, 97 Grand River St. N., Paris, Ontario on Saturday, January 27th from 12PM to 3PM.
