Caledonia
(nee Myhal) of Brantford passed away peacefully at Hankinson House on Monday March 30th, 2015 at 78 years of age. Loving mother of 6: Heather (Allen) of Prince George B.C., Donna and David (Debbie) of Chilliwack B.C., Maureen (Sheldon) of Orillia ON, John (Suzette) of Woodstock ON, and Bruce (Eugenette) of Brantford. Big sister to Lois Colwell (Bob – late) and Patricia (Pat) Hayhurst (Ivan) both of Brantford. Much loved grandmother to 10 grandchildren: Kristy-Leigh, Matthew, Kyle, Cameron, Brandon, Bryanna, Justin, Meghann, Danielle, and Ryan. Beloved great grandmother to Andrew and Jamey. Predeceased by her parents Steve and Ethel (Henwood) Myhal of Brantford. Special thanks to the entire staff and volunteers at Stedman’s Community Hospice, CCAC, and the Palliative Ward at Brantford General Hospital, as well as Chris Silverthorne at Tranquility Burial & Cremation. Memorial donations to Stedman’s Community Hospice greatly appreciated. There will be a private service for Donna’s family and friends.

Today you lay to rest a Monarch of your family.. The lessons she instilled in her children through out her life , will be carried on for generations.
So today is a celebration of a daughter, wife , Mother, Grandmother and G Grandmother, Be proud that you can say, she was a role model to all .

Donna was a true friend. The day I met her, when she first started volunteering at Cambrie’s Little Boxes, I just knew we would be great friends. She was so kind, she always had a smile for you. Her life stood for something. When she talked about her family, she was so very proud of each one of them. She never complained about a thing although she could have as her previous illness with cancer were not easy. She will be missed by us all but we are all better people for having known her. Rest my dear friend….you have worked so hard. Our sympathies to the family at this time. Remember what a great Mom, Sister, Grandmother and Greatgrandmother you had with fondness. She will be watching over you all.
