Michael Alton MacDonald

December 20, 1956 – May 7, 2025

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Michael MacDonald is saddened to announce his passing at the age of 68, on May 7th 2025 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Shauna (Hall), and very proud father to his son Michael (the Dude). Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter within his extended family. He is also survived by his sisters Mary and Margaret, special niece Krysta, his mother in law Jean and his loyal companion Rosey. He was predeceased by his first wife Noreen and his parents Mary and Michael MacDonald.

Michael was born in Dominion, Cape Breton, NS and was a devoted Caper. He was a dedicated lifelong sports fan, most notably the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. A passionate drummer who loved music.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
