To the MacDonald Family, I send my deepest sympathies. I was sad to hear of John’s passing when I went to volunteer last week in the Cancer clinic. He was a kind man and always a smile on his face. He was a fighter.
Thank you so much. John had a special spot in his heart for all the Drs., Nurses and Volunteers at both the Cancer Clinic and OTMH in general. Thank you all so much for all the work and kindness you all showed us both.
Hi my name is Debbie Walsh. I was married to Frank Walsh for many years. As you know Frank passed 8 years ago this month and we still miss him everyday. He spoke so highly of John when I heard he had passed away I wanted to extend my condolences to all of his family. Frank thought the world of John and I know they spent a lot of fun times together. Rest In Peace John. Say hi to Frank. I’m sure you will meet again. God bless! Debbie Walsh

Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are. I will truly miss Angus’s visits to the pub, all his great stories, our Friday lotto dreams and most of all – that big laugh. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers always.

I lost a good friend, his name was John Angus MacDonald.
I have known Angus for around 50 years and I have never met a better person. I have never seen Angus mad, complain or talk about someone behind their back.
I remember the time I flew to San Francisco to meet him where he was working, or the time he and I took the train to Montreal, or when the three of us including Freddy went out west in a half ton truck.
We liked to go on a “Three Hour Tour” on Sturgeon lake mostly to Bobcaygeon sipping on drinks watching the shoreline pass by.
Angus loved his boat lift but unfortunately he never got to use it with his new boat that he restored.
We all could learn from Angus how to be a better person.
Rest in peace.
