Janice Diane Maas
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Diane Maas. Janice passed away suddenly in Markham on November 18, 2024 at the age of 59. Beloved spouse of 18 years to Kurt Reiter. Loving mother of Mathew Bolivar (Elizabeth Duffley). Dear sister to Nancy Millar (Steve) and Richard (Karen). Cherished daughter of the late John and Diane (nee Skinner) Maas. Janice will be fondly remembered by her niece and nephews, extended family and many friends. A passionate volunteer with Scouts Canada, Janice mentored young minds for 15 years. She touched many lives and will be missed dearly by
everyone that knew her. As per her wishes, Janice has been cremated and will be laid to rest at a future date.
Elizabeth, Matt and family. We send you our deepest condolences during this difficult time. We send you all of our love and many hugs. With love your Avos
It’s hard to believe that Janice is no longer with us. Even though we had a short association ,as we had moved into the neighborhood recently, Janice left a remarkable impression with us as a helpful neighbor who took great interest in helping others in the neighborhood and was a great believer in a happy community. We will surely miss her company and valuable advice a lot . Condolences to all who loved her.
So sorry to write this and still hard to believe that such a good friend and skillful work mate left us forever.
Janice will be missed, for her sense of humor, always willing to help and warm hearted to take care of the community.
Sincerest condolence to Kurt and the family!
