Our mother passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2014 at age 93 at Leisureworld Brampton Meadows. She was deeply loved by all who knew her. We give thanks to her attentive caregivers. Dawn was a strong person who endured many trials including the loss of her 2 sons, David and Peter, and her husband Gordon. She would proudly tell all that she was a cancer survivor. Dawn will be dearly missed by her daughters Gaye (Russ), Janis and Anne (Gordon). She is survived by her brothers Gary, Harley, Dean, her sister Rosalyn, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, nieces and nephews. Mom, we will miss your love, and your love of life, and especially the hundreds of games of Scrabble that we played with you until your final days.A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 44 Church St. E. Brampton on Sunday June 8th with visitation at 1:30pm, the service at 2:30 and a reception to follow in the church hall. In hounour of Dawn, please refrain from wearing black, bright colours are welcomed. In lieu of flowers a donation to the church would be greatly appreciated
