Mary leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years, Joe, and her sons, David and Rob who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Laskowski. She was predeceased by her parents Walter Pawlik and Maria Pawlik (nee Hynek), sister Wałladysława (Alicia) Pawlik, and her sister Irene Loncaric. Mary will also be missed by her sister-in-law Dianne Lindo (Dan Lord); as well as cherished friends Joe and Vicki, Joe and Marguerite, Larry and Carole, John and Mona childhood friend Hennie and her spouse Luke and many nephews and nieces. the family also wishes to recognize Vasilii Marusenko and his son Borys who brought much comfort and joy to Mary’s final days for which they are deeply grateful.
Beside her love of her sons, Mary loved her dogs. She was a voracious reader and puzzle solver.
Mary will be cremated at Tranquility Burial and Cremation Services in Brantford. In keeping with her wishes, no formal service will be held.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Stedman Community Hospice for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice Brantford or The Farley Foundation in Mary’s memory.

Since condolences to Joe, Dave and Rob from our family. In our brief time knowing Mary, she was a very kind and generous person. Rest in eternal peace.

My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences go out to Joe, David, Rob and Mary’s extended family. I fondly remember our time as neighbours on Butternut. She will be sorely missed.
