It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Linda Marcia Babiarz.
Linda left us in her sleep on Thursday, September 14th at her residence The Village at University Gates in Waterloo.
Linda was the cherished wife of Edward Babiarz for close to 61 years. Ed & Linda were inseparable throughout their marriage. Even during Linda’s stay in Long Term Care for the last 4 years, Ed would be a daily visitor (sometimes twice a day) to see his beloved wife.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Valerie (John) and her grandchildren Mitch, Tate, and Jay. Linda was a big sister to Fred (Sharon) Johnston, Kim (Larry) Boulding, and Christine Johnston, and was predeceased by Louise (Les) Keough, Thomas Oberding, and Bobby Johnston. Linda and Ed could always be found at their grandchildren’s sporting events cheering them on. And Linda always looked forward to family gatherings and being able to see her siblings, nieces, and nephews.
We would like to thank all of those who cared for Linda in the Wright Neighbourhood at The Village at University Gates.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at
St John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium,
737 Dundas St E, Mississauga.
There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
followed by a service at
11:00 AM with burial to follow and a reception
In lieu of flowers,
