LARAWAY, Brenda Colleen – Suddenly on Sunday, January 8, 2017, in her 71st year. Born in Brantford, she was the daughter of Hazel and Austin Greentree. Predeceased by her husband and best friend George Laraway (Dec. 2016). Loving mother of Dave (Barb), Dan (April) and Mandy (Alex). Cherished and forever loving Nana to Shelby (Kyle), Jessica, Justin and Shawn. Great-grandmother of Jaeden. Brenda was the dear sister of Ralph (Joan), Peter (Gloria), Paul (Irene), Les (Marg), John and Lori. A special mention to her dear friends Danny & Anita, Tim & Veronica Urch and her dear Kitty Monkey. As well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends of her Congregation. Brenda was a strong, kind and compassionate woman. Although confined to a wheelchair, there was no mountain she couldn’t climb. She will be forever loved and dearly missed. A service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 11 St. Patrick Dr., Brantford. For those unable to attend the service, friends and family will be gathering at Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 90, 21 Oak St., Brantford at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Brant SPCA or Participation House greatly appreciated
