LAMB, Mary Eleanor (nee English) – Born March 21st, 1916. Eleanor passed peacefully at BGH on March 14th, 2016, into Heaven where she expects to enjoy a wonderful 100th birthday with departed relatives and friends, reunited with her dear husband “Johnny” (1994). Left behind to share fond memories of her: daughters Joy Reese (Bruce 2014), Kath and Bill Worsfold of New Zealand and Elizabeth and Frank Fioretti of L.A. California. Beloved grandmother of Susan Robert (Andre), Christine Marco (Dave), Joel Reese (Lee). Great-Grandmother of Shawn Reese (Tammy) and boys, Jeremy Robert and family, Adam Robert (Sam), Calvin Reese (Angie), Cameron (Phuonganh), Kathryn (Bill) and Cody. Eleanor was a very active member of the Fairview United Church for 56 years as a faithful choir member and youth leader and UCW member, quilter and bell ringer. She will be remembered for her kind, gentle generous and helpful nature. She also was a volunteer with handicapped children and worked several years in the Brantford General Hospital Kitchen. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life service will be at Bethel Reformed Church, 506 West Street on Friday March 18th, 2016. Visitation 10 – 11 am., service 11 am., followed by lunch. Pastor Bram Blaak will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stedman Hospice or Hankinson House, Fairview Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
