Ronald James Kovacs (Ron)
July 29, 1945 – July 22, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Ron, just shy of his 80th birthday.
Ron leaves behind his wife Helen of 24 years, Grandson Dylan Kovacs, Daughter in-law Crystal Gibson (Rich), Sister in-law Nadia Field (Patrick), Niece Jennifer Pride (Ross), their daughter Abby, Nephew Kevin Field (Laetitia Donomo), daughters Dahlya & Mathilda Predeceased by his parents (John & Julia Kovacs) and his son Richard Kovacs (2002).
Ron worked at Gates in Brantford for 30+ years where he retired. Ron loved hanging out in his “Garage” welcoming all that dropped in, to enjoy a cold one with him . You all know who you are!
Ron enjoyed time with his family, hunting for many years, enjoyed his game shows, was a true fan of the Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. As per his request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Patrick Field and Crystal Gibson for all their help & support and the paramedics and medical staff.
