Gary Knibbs aka Knibbzee
Nov 25th 1957- May 4, 2025
A heart stopped beating today. It’s with great sadness that I announce the passing of my husband. He was a father, a brother, a brother-in-law, a great friend, and most importantly, the Best Papa. He leaves behind 39 years with his wife, Sue, his children Terry, Eric Lawson-MacNeil (Shane), Tim Beland (Melissa), Erin (Owais), Trista Lee and Coley. Gary was mostly proud of his grandchildren Dallas, Austin and his 2 stinkers Miss Harper and Miss Presslee. Gary was also a Step-Papa to Zayne, Ashtyn, Tessa, Shanastene, Kingston, Greg and Gabe. He also leaves behind his brothers Jim (Tracey) and Wayne (Linda), Shane Jay and brother-in-law Danny Beland, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary is now reunited with his son Taylor, his mother Bev, father Jerry Knibbs, his brother Chuck and Doug, his sister Sharon, his in-laws Donna and Pat Beland, brother-in-law Bobby and sister-in-law Karen Beland. Gary loved baseball and played for over 30 years in the Laurel N Hardy league, and in the hockey Seals league. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to Mike Silverthorne, Douglas Falls, Jerry Blue, Rick Locke and to the ICU team at the BGH.
Knibbzee’s Celebration of Life will be held on:
June 7th from 1:00 – 5:00 PM
Polish Hall, 154 Pearl St., Brantford, ON
