Joan Althea Young (Cusack), of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, passed away peacefully in her 90th year, surrounded by family, on August 15, 2025, at Georgetown Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas Ernest Young, and later in life special companion to the late Tom Parker. Loving mother to Daniel Young (Rhonda) and the late Shari Kravis (Nils). Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Colette), Heather (Peter), Anders (Michelle), and Ashton. Proud great-grandmother to Kennedy, Spencer, Greyson, Georgia, Asher, Westley, and Ella. Joan’s life was defined by her deep commitment to her family and her church community.

She will be remembered for her devotion, kindness, and faith.

The family will welcome friends at a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
