JAMIESON, Charlotte Elise
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte Elise Jamieson (née Corder), a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, who left us peacefully on February 7, 2025, in Hamilton. Born on March 2, 1953, in Westminster, England, Charlotte’s journey through life was marked by love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
For 41 beautiful years, Charlotte was the devoted wife of Douglas Jamieson. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, filled with shared dreams and countless memories.
She was a loving mother to her son, Ross Jamieson, and a caring mother-in-law to Mai Nguyen. Charlotte’s role as a grandmother to Lexi Jamieson was her greatest joy; she found immense happiness in witnessing her family grow. A highlight of her life was participating in her son Ross’s wedding and welcoming her granddaughter Lexi into the world. These moments stood out as pinnacle events that brought her immense pride and joy.
Charlotte is also survived by her sister, Alison Feris-McCrae, and her extended family in Great Britain, including Annabelle Harle and Janice Brent.
In her final days, Charlotte was cared for by the compassionate team at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the PSWs for their genuine care for Charlotte.
To honor Charlotte’s memory and support the vital work of the Juravinski Hospital Intensive Care Unit, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.
A memorial service to celebrate Charlotte’s life will be held on February 25, 2025, at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
Charlotte’s legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched.
I love you, Mum. Thank you for your endless love, wisdom, and guidance. Even though you’re no longer here, your strength and kindness will always live on in me. Mai and I will ensure Lexi learns how much you loved being her grandma and how deeply you cared for her. We miss you more than words can say, but we find comfort knowing you’re at peace. Rest well, Mum. You will always be in our hearts.
