JAMES, Michael

“In Loving Memory of Michael Timothy Lee James”
May 18, 1979 – October 21, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Michael Timothy Lee James.  Mike touched the lives of so many people, no matter where he resided.  He was always the biggest presence in any room, truly devoted to making every single person laugh, whether they wanted to or not. Mike was never afraid to try something new or outrageous. In fact, the more outrageous it was, the better as far as he was concerned.  Naturally loveable and witty, people couldn’t help but gravitate towards him. Mike had a huge and compassionate heart and was a genuine and gentle soul. He was the kind of person who would absolutely give you the shirt off his back without a second thought.

Our hearts are broken, for the world became a little darker on the day that his vibrant light went out.  He will forever be missed by his Mother, Bonnie, Father and Stepmother, Leonard and Aida, brother Christopher (Sandra), sister Jennifer (Darrell), nephews Daymon and Devon, great niece Sawyer, close family friend Michael St Germain, Aunt Diana (Gord), Uncle Doug (Elaine), Aunt Dorothy, all of his many cousins and loving friends and acquaintances he met in his much too short life.

More than any of us will ever know, he will be missed by his beloved Lil’ Miss Stinks McWinks, who was his best friend, his confidant (even if the conversations were one way) and his lifeline for as long as he allowed her to be.

“He is now at peace and safe in the arms of Jesus”

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be planned for the Spring in the new year.

For anyone who wishes to make a donation in his honour, please do so to your local mental health organization.  Everyone who needs help should have easy access to it.  Lives literally depend on it.
