In Loving Memory of Rebecca Lee Nardone

Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating the life of Rebecca on December 28th at the Rope Factory.  The gathering will take place from 12:00–4:00 p.m., with words of remembrance beginning around 1:00 p.m., followed by a time for shared stories, reflection, and concluding with light conversation and light refreshments.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Rebecca “Becky” Lee Nardone, at the age of 73.

Becky leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Ben, her sons Evan (Hillary)—with granddaughters Blakely and Ivory—and Dean (Lisa)—with grandsons Jayden and Carson. Siblings Kevin, Troy, Jenny & Joanne.  Her family was her world, and she took immense pride in each of them.

Becky was a caring, hardworking, and beautiful soul who touched every life she crossed. She had a remarkable gift for design and decorating—if Becky had ever stepped into your home, chances are she left it a little more beautiful than she found it. Her warm presence, creativity, and love for people shone through in everything she did.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Becky was endlessly selfless. She always thought of others first—always ready to help, to listen, and to show up. Her kindness, her quiet strength, and her generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

This past year, Becky faced ALS with courage, determination, and grace. Her chosen sisters—the “Squad”: Maryellen, Kathy, Pam, and Sharon—stood by her and Ben every step of the way. Their unwavering love, support, and devotion through each stage of this terrible disease were a true gift. Their kindness is a testament to the remarkable women she surrounded herself with.

Even through the hardest moments, Becky held onto her spirit. She leaves us with memories full of love, laughter, and warmth—and with homes and hearts forever touched by her talent and compassion. She will be deeply, deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Rope Factory – 111 Sherwood Drive, Unit 27, Brantford Ontario, on December 28, from 12–4pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS Canada or The Stedman Community Hospice, whose care and kindness brought comfort in her final days.

Becky was a loyal client and someone we deeply respected. She was always professional, kind, and a joy to work with but also refreshingly honest. If you weren’t ready for the answer, you probably shouldn’t have asked her. That honesty was part of what made her so special.
She had a true eye for design and took great pride in her work. Becky brought thoughtfulness, experience, and care into everything she did, and she had a way of making those around her feel supported and confident. She generously encouraged my growth in design and never hesitated to offer reassurance or guidance.
We feel grateful to have known her and to have crossed paths with her. She touched our lives in a meaningful way and will be deeply missed. Our hearts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
