In Loving Memory of Peter Crechiolo

Peter Crechiolo
July 6, 1945 – September 29, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Crechiolo in his 81st year on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Brantford General Hospital, with his devoted wife of 58 years Isobel  and closest family by his side. After a long and courageous battle with illness, Peter left this world surrounded by love.
Peter was a proud and loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Peter later made Brantford his home for the past 37 years. He built a fulfilling career in industrial painting and took great pride in his craft — whether painting cars, houses, or tackling his next creative project. His hands were rarely still, and even as his health declined, his spirit remained strong.
Peter had a deep love for vintage and classic cars, antiques, and thrift shop treasures. He was known for his legendary garage sales, not just as a way to share his finds, but as a way to stay connected with neighbors and friends. A natural storyteller and social soul, Peter could often be found enjoying coffee and conversation, especially with his friends from the car community.
Above all, Peter leaves behind his greatest legacy — his son, Michael, affectionately known as “Mike on the Bike,” who carries forward Peter’s passion and strength.
Peter’s warmth, humor, and kindness touched many lives, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
