Virginia Lee Carty
June 19, 1959 – September 15, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Lee Carty, maiden name Hill age 66, on September 15, 2025 at home in her bed surrounded by loved ones.
Virginia Lee Carty was born on June 19, 1959 in Calgary Alberta. Virginia is survived by Anthony , Matthew her sons. Bill her spouse and Lauren, Kathleen, and Jonathan her siblings. Virginia is predeceased by her Mother Anne Campbell, Father Chris Georgousis, and older brother Wayne Hill.
Virginia became a mother at a young age and from that moment she knew what was her goal in life. She was going to be the best mother ever. She loved animals and thought of becoming a Veterinarian. Instead she embraced motherhood with passion and love. When her 2nd child came 4 yrs later she was a pro at motherhood. She was passionate about helping people who needed it she volunteered at the church and also the MS Society in BC. She was Loved by all who knew her and we will never forget her.
The family will be holding a private service on September 19, 2025 at Meadowvale Cemetery. A Celebration of Lifewill take place on October 25,2025 for those who would like to celebrate Virginia Lee Carty life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or MS Society of Canada
