Herline Hylton – In Loving Memory
On March 2, 2025 the peaceful passing of Herline Hylton was pronounced. Many of her caring family members were by her side to bid her farewell to her heavenly home.
Herline was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, church sister, prayer partner, confidant and many other roles wherein. She was and will continue to be cherished. She was preceded by her late husband Llewelyn and son Hares.
Herline was a very hard worker who would come home from her night shift at the airport, prepare breakfast and lunch for her children then go to sleep, ensuring that she was up in time for when her children return home from school. She would make dinner for her family and lunch for her husband and if there was a meeting at school, you know that she would be present.
In all her duties, Herline took pride, whether it was caring for her family here in Canada, helping or encouraging folks in other parts of the world such as England, US, Jamaica and Canada or preparing the church for Sunday service. She understood the plight of those in need and tried to help wherever and whenever she could.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of her care and wise advice, a testament to her enduring spirit and the quiet love she shared.
