HUMPARTZIAN, Matilda

June 12, 1927-August 12, 2024

It is with deep sadness we wish to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandma and wife. Matilda was the epitome of today’s domestic Engineer, taking great pride in her gardens, sewing and cooking. We often thought of her as the “Martha Stewart” of Alfred Street, always making something out of nothing, and she always had a soft spot in heart for animals.

Survived by her husband Paul, daughter Ann Homan (John), Susan (Daniel), and Christine (d)( Sandy), grandchildren Jason, Christopher and Ian and great grandsons. Predeceased by her siblings Yervant, Susan, Pogo, brother-inlaws Richard and Peter, sister in-laws Connie and Gloria. Survived by sister-in-law Ruby and brother-inlaw Larry. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their extended families back in Turkey, and the Humpartzian clan in Canada

There will be no funeral service per Matilda’s wishes. Cremation has taken place.
