HOWE, Timothy “Tim” John

March 07, 2026 | 1 Condolence

It is with broken hearts that the daughters of Tim Howe announce his sudden passing on March 1, 2026, with his family by his side. A life-long resident of St. Catharines, and honourary founding member of the Golden Pheasant Christmas Shut Down Choir Club. Tim was self-dubbed "best dressed golfer on the course". He always believed that your attire outweighed your golf game final score. Elvis' number one fan, Tim passed on his love of music to his family and enjoyed many concerts with them throughout the years. Tim was the proud dad to Jodi (TJ) Howe and Erin (Steve) Moretto. The forever bragging Papa of Karlie, Logan, Nicholas, and Isabella.

Tim was the son of the late, Hugh and Margaret Howe. Brother to Michael (Siobhan) Howe, Terry (Linda) Howe, Tracy (Bill) Howe, and Jayna (Louie) Buccarelli. Proud uncle of Brook, Kayleigh, Jordan, Alycia, and Claudia. He was the funniest man you'd ever meet, and you always had a good time when Tim was close by. He retired from General Motors in 2006, after 35 years, and spent every summer since then at Beechwood Golf Club. Our family invites you to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 7th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Beechwood, with words of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. Open House 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation in Tim's memory to Happy in my Home Community Support Services of Niagara, providing services to older adults within the Niagara Region.

Until we see you again Papa Party Pants, forever and ever in our hearts.

So very sorry for your loss. I knew Tim mostly from the old Duck hotel. I hope the love you shared and the memories you made will help you through this difficult time.
