It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy, Monday, September 26, 2022 at the age of 73, at John Noble Home, Brantford, ON, where she went peacefully home to her heavenly reward.
Nancy’s kindness, loving heart, infectious smile and love for her family and friends will last forever.
Wife of over 55 years to loving husband Robert Horney and dear mother to Melissa (Byron), Jane (Tanya), Jeffrey (Sara) and Matthew (Naleesha), as well as, loving Nana to Victoria (Jacob), Wesley, Azim, Jacob, Sarah (Brayden), Kennedy and Damien and “Great-Nana” to Jeffrey, Chloe and Callie; she will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her brother Gary (Gail) and aunt Joan (Mac) and predeceased by her parents Hazel Dorothy and Ellis Clayton Smale, and brother James (Stella).
The family offers special thanks to the staff at The Brantford General and Willet Hospitals and John Noble Home, who cared for Nancy with diligence and compassion during the last year.
