Honeysett, Elsie (nee Barrett)

Passed peacefully with Jon at her side, on March 31st 2025 at Stedman hospice in Brantford.
In her 79th year Elsie lived a life full of kindness and strength and gave us so many unforgettable moments to remember.
She brought positive energy and love into our lives and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Elsie has been cremated and a private graveside service will be held in the near future as per her wishes.
Jon, Jennifer and Janene (Carlos) would like to thank the staff at stedman hospice for their exceptional care. We will be eternally grateful for the week mom spent in your care.
Thank you to all the PSWs (especially Melissa and Nikki) for their kindness, support and care over the past 5 years. You allowed mom to remain in her home despite her advanced dementia.
And finally thank you to all our friends and family for the phone calls text messages, visits, food, flowers and countless hugs and kisses. You gave us comfort and strength to get through such a challenging time.
Rest in peace Momma.

I can’t seem to find the words eloquent enough to capture the true essence of my friend. Elsie had a kind, generous heart with a quick wit. She loved her family whole heartedly, and they cared and advocated for her with equal measure. Keeping you all in my thoughts.
