In Loving Memory of Leslie Margaret Hemsley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie Margaret Hemsley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who left us peacefully surrounded by love and memories.

Leslie will be dearly missed by her devoted son, Rob, his wife, Amanda, and her cherished grandchildren: Emma, Charlie, Jackson, Hudson, and Hannah. Survived by Sister, Lynn, Brother, Tony and various family members residing in Western Canada.

Leslie maintained many friendships including her longtime companion, Bryan Pyefinch. She was a constant source of warmth, wisdom, and joy in the lives of her closest family.

A woman of quiet strength and simple pleasures, Leslie found joy in puzzles, journaling, and bingo nights with her neighbors at AgeCare Brant Home. Her favorite moments were often spent going for walks with her grandchildren along the Burlington waterfront trail, sharing stories and creating memories that will live on in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 18th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Smith’s Funeral home (1167 Guelph Line, Burlington) . Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the beautiful life Leslie lived.
In lieu of donations, flowers may be sent directly to Smith’s Funeral Home in her honor.

Forever in our hearts, Leslie’s kindness, laughter, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
