Peacefully, on July 11, 2013 surrounded by his family at the age of 78. Loving husband and best friend to Shirley for 50 years. Loving father to Robert, Shelley and her spouse Richard. Adored “Pop” to Stephen and the late Christopher (2003). Will be sadly missed by his furry pals, Luci, Jaxson and Buddy. In keeping with Gord’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Special thanks to the nurses from Bay Shore Home Health, Lara and Sherry, and to all the staff at Stedman Community Hospice for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated
