HAAS, Karen Marie (nee Rive) – Peacefully in the arms of her family June 5, 2018. Karen will always be with the love of her life Gary, her children Terry and Trish (Markus) and her grandchildren Riley (Ben), Deanna and Kathryn. Karen’s celebration of life began November 11, 1941 and will continue each and every day through the profound love from her cherished family and friends. A private family service guided by the beautiful Dr. Lloyd-Smith (Fred) was held Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the “Karen MAiD it happen” fund has been established to pioneer a comforting space for the MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) journey to continue and grow.
