Longtime Brantford resident, Joe Gray passed away July 4, 2018 at Brant Community Healthcare following a heart attack on July2, aged 79 years. For the past year, Joe has been a resident at Sheridan Lodge in Brantford and he enjoyed his time there. Special “Thanks” to Stacy and her wonderful staff for their kindness, care and understanding of Joe’s other health problems. Joe was predeceased by his parents Bill Gray Sr. and Doris (nee King, Gray) Arsenault, his brothers Bill Gray (Marilyn deceased), Ted (Carol deceased) and his infant sister May Arsenault. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families, his brother Alex Gray, his sisters Noly (Arsenault) Gallagher (Brian deceased) and Jenny (Arsenault) McKechnie (Glen deceased) and Joe’s long time friend Lorraine Bauman. Thank you to the EMS, Dr. Inegbu and the nurses both in the ER and Critical Care Unit for their efforts on Joe’s behalf. At Joe’s request, cremation has been entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services. He will be buried with his parents in Hamilton at a later date. Remember Joe for the twinkle in his eye, his impish grin and his zest for life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charity of your choice or the Critical Care Unit at Brant Community Healthcare or the Brantford Alzheimer Society.
