Peacefully after a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, August 20, 2017, Verna in her 92nd year. Dear mother of Brenda Dobson (John) and the late Bradley Cole (2011). Much loved grandmother of Briana and Kyleagh Dobson. Survived by her sister Florence Jensen of Victoria, BC and Louise Bedard of London, ON. Predeceased by her parents Allen Boyd Goodyear and Lucy May Ford; sister Beatrice Teutsch and brothers George Goodyear and Ches Goodyear. In accordance with Verna’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and Verna’s cremains will be returned to Catalina, NL at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Brant County SPCA or Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.
